Configuring NMS for TCP/IP Networks
Use the Network Configuration application to customize your configuration for
TCP/IP networks. For details on doing so, refer to the
COMSPHERE 6700 Series
Network Management System Network Configuration Guide
. Refer to
Appendix D,
Data Input Sheets,
for blank forms.
Installing an NMS Feature
The following procedure refers to Drive A. Use the disk drive that is appropriate
for your PC.
Procedure
1. Insert Disk #1 into Drive A.
2. From the Program Manager window, if you are running:
— Windows 3.1, choose Run from the File menu.
— Windows 95 or Windows NT, choose the Start button and then Run.
3. In the Command Line field, type A:\INSTALL.
4. Choose OK. The Welcome window appears.
5. Choose Continue. The Product Information window appears.
